know your why
There came a moment when I stopped and asked myself:
why am I doing this?
Why write a book?
Why start empowermint?
Why try to shift a system that often feels so heavy, so broken?
And the answer was simple…
To make a difference.
To help learners — and the parents who worry about them — feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I spoke to learners. I really listened.
And what I heard wasn’t laziness or apathy.
It was fear.
It was overwhelm.
It was a quiet plea for hope.
They were tired.
Lost.
Trying hard — but getting nowhere.
What they needed wasn’t just study tips.
They needed someone in their corner.
Someone to say:
“You’re not broken. You’re brilliant — and we just need to unlock that brilliance.”
And that’s when I saw it clearly.
The solution was staring me in the face.
Give them what they need.
Share what I’ve learnt.
Help them thrive.
That’s why I created empowermint.
Not just a book.
Not just a tool.
But a movement — to uplift learners, equip parents, and reignite belief in a better tomorrow.
This journey has not been easy.
There were moments I felt completely worn out.
But every time I was close to giving up, I reminded myself of my WHY.
And every single time, that WHY refuelled me.
Here’s what I’d love to ask you:
What’s your why?
And how are you living it, leading it, or building from it?
Because when you know your why,
the how becomes easier,
and the setbacks become fuel.
